Strong Faith (Part 1): Simple Faith in Christ Alone

WHAT IS STRONG FAITH?

What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Romans 4:1-3

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able to perform.
And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

Romans 4:20-22

Strong faith is believing God’s promise to you [Romans 4:20].

God’s promise to you is that you are declared righteous by God through faith in Jesus Christ alone [Romans 3:24-28].

To have strong faith in God is to believe that you are righteous through faith in Christ alone, without having to keep the Law [Romans 3:28, Galatians 3:12].
