KEY SCRIPTURE

‘I am Jesus whom thou persecute.
But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom I now send thee,
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they might receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.’

Acts 26:15-18

Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,
Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints.

1 Corinthians 1:1-2a

But ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Corinthians 6:11b

KEY PHRASES

The church is those that are called by God to be in Christ, and thereby receive the inheritance that is in Christ

The inheritance that is in Christ is forgiveness of sin, righteousness and to get made sanctified

The Christian’s inheritance that is in Christ is forgiveness of sin, righteousness and to get made sanctified

Sanctified is to be made holy

When you believed Christ died for your sin, you were made an inheritor of the inheritance that God had chosen to give the church

You were sanctified, in that your spirit was made holy in Christ when you believed Christ died for your sins

When you were born again, you were born again in subjection to Christ

Your spirit submits to Christ

You submit to God

God made you submit to Him

Your inheritance when you believed Christ died for your sins, is you get your sin forgiven, you get Christ’s righteousness and you get sanctified

Sanctified is part of your inheritance

Regarding you having your sin forgiven, all things are allowed

Regarding you being righteous, all things are allowed

Regarding your sanctification, all things are allowed

Your inheritance in Christ is your forgiveness of sin, your righteousness and your sanctification

Your sin stays forgiven

You stay righteous

You stay born again, holy, sanctified by Christ

Your inheritance that is sealed in Christ includes your righteousness, your salvation and you being sanctified
