WHAT IS THE LOVE OF GOD?
According as he [God] hath chosen us in him [Christ] before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:Ephesians 1:4-6
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
When you believed the Gospel of Christ, you received the righteousness of God and were accepted by God [1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 3:31-22, Ephesians 1:6].
God chose you to be a child of God and accepted by Him, through Christ, because of his love for you [Ephesians 1:4-6].
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:Romans 5:1-5
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.Romans 5:9-11
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
When you stand upon the righteousness of God (trust God for your righteousness instead of your own self-righteousness), you glorify God [Romans 5:1-2].
When you glorify God in this way, God testifies to your righteousness by shedding the love of God abroad in your heart [Romans 5:5, 8:10b].
This manifestation of the love of God is the life of Christ imparted to you by the Holy Spirit [Romans 5:5, 5:10, 8:2].
Worship stirs up/amplifies this manifestation of the love of God.
