Strong Faith (Part 2): God Justifies the Ungodly

WHAT IS STRONG FAITH?

What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Romans 4:1-5

Strong faith is believing the promise of God to you [Romans 4:20].

God’s promise to you is that He declares ungodly people to be righteous, if they have faith in the Gospel of Christ [Romans 1:16; 3:24-28; 4:5; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4].

To have strong faith in God is to believe that you are righteous through faith in Christ alone, without having to become godly through keeping the Law [Romans 3:28, Galatians 3:12].
